A northern German company in the prefabricated and modular construction sector needed additional office space for its planning and administration departments. What could be more obvious than pre-fabricating this building in the company's own nearby halls between peak times on other projects?
The design envisaged an elongated and expandable structure consisting of 13 steel modules, which was derived from the basic unit of the double office of 4.50 m and provides generous natural lighting through long aluminum glass facades.
A flying carpet ensures the necessary shading to the south and supports the photovoltaic system. Inside, all partition walls are interchangeable, which enables all configurations from single to open-plan offices and can accommodate a very high occupancy rate if necessary.
